Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Imaging Center seeks a dedicated, enthusiastic, well-organized, and customer-focused front desk receptionist to join our team.
CCESIC is an equine hospital located in North Phoenix, Arizona near Cave Creek, and specializes in sports medicine, surgical cases, and advanced imaging: we’re dynamic and reputable — dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care to our equine patients. Your role will be as our Veterinary Receptionist. Please note, this job is not a stepping stone to become a Vet Tech. Thank you for understanding.
The best candidates will demonstrate the following:
Veterinary hospital reception experience (1 year minimum) OR
General reception / customer service / clerical experience (1 year minimum) BUT with an extensive equine or animal care background
The receptionist is both the face and voice of the clinic. Consequently, as our receptionist, you’re expected to be professional and courteous, outgoing, compassionate, confident, and capable of handling many tasks. If that sounds like you, come join our team!
General Duties:
Call handling
Client communications
Patient Scheduling
Data entry (invoice preparation and payment handling)
Front desk administration and customer service
General housekeeping duties
General office duties include scanning, emailing, and using Microsoft Office programs
Create, Update, and Maintain client files
Qualifications
Excellent phone and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with good organizational skills
General office / clerical experience preferred:
General veterinary scheduling software knowledge a plus!

General internet knowledge
High School diploma required. Some college or college degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18/hr.
