Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the highest level of service for our clients and their beloved pets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of our services while fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients.
Duties
Manage Reception, Group Enrichment and Grooming daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Supervise and train staff, providing guidance on best practices in animal care and customer interaction.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring client satisfaction.
Oversee scheduling of services, including boarding, grooming, training and group enrichment program
Maintain accurate records of services provided, client interactions, and employee performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to animal care.
Collaborate with Boarding Care Manager to provide comprehensive care for animals.
Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the service team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the veterinary or animal care industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of animal care practices, including experience as a veterinary assistant or technician.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Experience in sales is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records.
Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional service.
