We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic team player to join our veterinary family!
*Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist experience required. *Flexibility to work within our hours of operation (M-F: 7:30-8 S: 7:30-3) and available for rotational Saturday shifts. *Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. *Experience with appointment scheduling, client communication, and use of multiline phones. *Basic knowledge of parasite prevention and vaccination protocols. *Desire to be an integral part of our growing 3+ doctor medical team. *Situational awareness, self-awareness, and an awareness of others’ needs and concerns. *Service orientation and striving to improve and meet standards of excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties
*Create positive impressions as the front-line of the practice. *Answer phones, field client questions, and schedule appointments. *Respond to emails, faxes, and other communications across multiple platforms. *Ensure patient reports and client communications are addressed with the veterinarian in a timely manner. *Collect payment for items dispensed and services rendered. *Maintain organization of the office space. *Handle prescription refill requests and medication pick-ups. *Cross-training and occasional assistant work may be available for the right candidate.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $12.50 – $17.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Bel Air, MD 21014: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
*Front desk: 1 year (Required) *Veterinary: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $20.00 – $25.00/hour.
