Job Summary
Ranch Hand Laborer-Maintenance/Fencing/Field & Hay Work/ 70% Feeding/Animal Care Operation 10% Perform other Job Duties as assigned 20% Preferred:
Near Craig, CO;
Married couples preferred but two separate individuals also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Feed and care for herds/horses, including water and food haul
- Maintain fences, gates, and pens across the property
- Perform field and hay work, manage supplies and equipment
- Drive around the property for scheduled tours and property surveillance
- Communicate regularly with the Executive Director/ Horse Refuge Director for security and coordination
- Follow company protocol, custodial, sustainability, and long‑term equipment care procedures
- Assist with electrical and plumbing tasks as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
