Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician-Surgery Focused Position
Colonial Animal Hospital is a full service medical and surgical veterinary hospital.We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. Schedule:
Monday and Tuesday
About the Role:
Our clinic performs surgeries in the morning and sees appointments in the afternoon, giving you the opportunity to assist in both surgical and general patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures and patient care
Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery
Perform routine technical duties such as blood draws, catheter placements, and lab work
Assist with afternoon appointments, client education, and patient care
Maintain a clean and organized surgical suite
Requirements:
Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification
Strong interest and experience in surgery preferred
Compassionate, team-oriented, and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical setting
