Working in partnership with the Senior Consultants and Consultants, the Project Officer will be required to work across all departments of the organisation with roles including but not limited to, managing a range of project activities including basic research design, literature reviews, exploratory data analysis, organising project activities, acquiring and managing confidential and private animal health data, drafting reports, contributing to project management and supporting the development of proposals to match client requirements. Travel may be required and applicants should be willing and able to travel to any destination Ausvet may be working.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain professional experience in veterinary epidemiology to assist the team in achieving defined project and business outcomes in the biosecurity, food security and health security sectors. It would suit someone with a background in agriculture / aquaculture, and a Bachelor Degree in a relevant domain and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the english language.
