Position Summary
The Project Director is responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale hospitality developments from project inception through commissioning and handover. The position provides executive leadership for all project functions including design coordination, commercial management, procurement, construction, quality, health and safety, commissioning and client management.
The Project Director shall ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with DEZACON’s quality standards while meeting the expectations of international hotel operators and investors.
The role requires extensive international project management experience, preferably on luxury hotel developments throughout Africa.

Experience
Minimum:
* 20 years of construction experience.
* 12 years managing major international projects.
* 10 years in executive project leadership.
* Experience delivering at least five luxury hotel projects valued above USD 75 million each.
* Experience managing EPC, Design-Build, or Construction Management contracts.
* Extensive experience across Africa is strongly preferred.
Experience in countries such as Ethiopia, is considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with demonstrated leadership in delivering internationally branded hospitality projects for operators such as Marriott will be given strong preference. Experience managing multicultural teams and working under FIDIC contracts is highly desiwill be given strong preference. Experience managing multicultural teams, working under FIDIC contract conditions, and delivering projects across multiple African jurisdictions is highly desirable.
