Key duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications for logistics and transportation operations.
- Design and support web, mobile, and desktop systems.
- Integrate systems such as GPS tracking, ERP, and warehouse management platforms.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot software to ensure smooth performance.
- Manage databases, reports, and dashboards for operational support.
- Work with users to improve business processes through technology solutions.
- Ensure system security, data protection, and application reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide user support/training.
- Support system deployment, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or application support.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
- Experience with databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and software testing.
- Familiarity with ERP, GPS tracking, fleet, WMS, or TMS systems is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
