Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality while developing a high-performing workforce. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to meet and exceed production targets.
Foster a positive and engaged workplace culture through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
Support onboarding and development of new employees, ensuring a strong foundation for success.
Production & Process Optimization
Oversee daily production schedules and adjust workflows to optimize efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production output and equipment utilization.
Collaborate with plant leadership to streamline operational procedures and resource allocation.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure workplace safety standards are met by identifying and mitigating hazards.
Conduct safety audits, training sessions, and accident investigations to promote a safe work environment.
Enforce company policies and OSHA compliance to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
Quality & Performance Management
Monitor production processes to ensure high-quality output and implement process improvements.
Work closely with Materials, Scheduling, and Logistics teams to maintain steady material flow.
Partner with Maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal production performance.
Staffing & Workforce Management
Evaluate staffing needs, monitor attendance, and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
Assist leadership with hiring decisions, promotions, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving results.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
