PlainHand is building the data layer surgical robots are missing. Before we reach the human OR, we validate on realistic living tissue. We need an advisor who can design and stand behind that work.
Advisory role. Equity. Hybrid/remote. Not full-time. Additional salary based of of performance. You own the porcine bridge: protocol design, IACUC pathway, facility selection, and veterinary oversight for force-critical manipulation studies that produce real, graded tissue and muscle response.
Who we want:
Veterinary surgeon, laboratory-animal veterinarian, or preclinical research director with a proven, verifiable record running porcine or large-animal surgical studies.
Direct experience with IACUC approval and a vetted large-animal facility. You have taken protocols through the process before.
Familiarity with robotic or minimally invasive surgical models is a strong plus.
Global is a strength, not a limit. A capable preclinical facility anywhere in the world with a viable ethics pathway is exactly what we want.
Who we do not want:
People who have read about animal studies but never run one. Advisors who lend a title and disappear.
