As the Practice Manager, your primary responsibility is to effectively utilize all resources available to ensure:

To reinforce our focus on collaboration and culture, we use the title “Hospital Teams Coordinator” instead of the traditional Practice Manager. This title reflects our commitment to fostering a team-oriented environment, where leadership is centered on supporting and coordinating our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for both our patients and our team.
The following skills and knowledge are required for the position of Hospital Teams Coordinator:
The ability to discern between challenges requiring management oversight as opposed to those requiring medical expertise.
The ability to maintain order to the workday in regards to the employee and appointment scheduling as established by the FPFP (see scheduling documents).
A working knowledge of basic business and accounting tasks
The ability to triage and prioritize queries and requests using good communications skills
A general working knowledge of basic Veterinary terminology and procedures.
Understand the basic principles of hygiene and disinfection, and be able to establish and monitor checklists to ensure standards for cleanliness and appearance of all areas of the practice premises.
The ability to establish and maintain data monitoring systems within the practice for evaluating the progress and maintenance of skills trained
