We’re looking for a compassionate and strategic leader to guide our Sevenoaks practices, including our 24-hour first opinion hospital and Borough Green branch. You’ll lead a team of 60, working closely with senior leaders across Pennard Vets and South East Vet Referrals to drive excellence in patient care, team development, and business growth.
Your role will focus on upholding clinical standards, fostering a thriving team culture, and ensuring financial sustainability – all while embodying our values and commitment to being beyond the ordinary.
Responsibilities
Lead the practice team with a focus on unity, clear communication, and client-focused service.
Work with the team to optimise client service, ensuring our clients and their pets receive the highest level of care, and our patients benefit from the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
Oversee financial performance to ensure responsible and sustainable growth.
Promote and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring complaints are
managed efficiently and effectively
Support and develop your team, ensuring that every member feels valued and
empowered to deliver excellence every day.
Manage practice operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance, to ensure
smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety, RCVS, and Pennard Vets’ own governance standards, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Strong leadership with a focus on compassion, clarity, and client focus.
Ability to manage and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive work
environment.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and business
performance.
A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in veterinary practice.
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent communication with internal and external customers
Computer skills including Microsoft 365, Excel and Power point
An RVN or have previous experience in the veterinary industry
