Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana is the first cable manufacturing company in Ghana. The company has been in existence for 58 years and located in Tema Heavy Industrial Area.
In the light of the company’s operational needs and growth strategy, there is the need to replace a planning officer to sustain productivity and meet operational targets. Filling the Planning Officer 1 role is therefore urgently needed to properly manage WIP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management (WIP)
- Updating Production data into ERP
- Transfer of finished good from Production to the FG Store
- Coordinate Data for SQDCE Meeting
- Creating & Updating of Production Master Data (Items, BOMs and Routings)
- Stock Taking
- Assist in the Weekly Production Planning in the absence of the supervisor
- Required Skill:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team Management with good interpersonal skills
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent Customer Service Orientation
- Functional Knowledge in the Manufacturing Module of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
- Inventory Management
- Intermediary Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Education: Requisite degree in supply chain management or equivalent qualification
Experience: Minimum 5 years
