Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for OPD, ward, and home visit patients.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, and handling.
- Barcode samples accurately and maintain specimen records.
- Organize laboratory reports and hand them over to patients.
- Assist doctors during procedures such as Bone Marrow Extraction and FNAC.
- Respond to telephone inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct home visits as part of the mobile laboratory service.
- Comply with hospital policies, ISO 15189, and JCI quality standards.
- Support and guide new team members while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
✅ Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L)
✅ Knowledge of venipuncture, capillary blood collection, specimen handling, and laboratory procedures
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✅ High level of integrity, compassion, discipline, and teamwork
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
