Role Description This full-time, on-site Pharmacist role at kudev Solutions is based in Lagos and involves providing safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications to clients and patients. The Pharmacist will review prescriptions for appropriateness, counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, and maintain up-to-date patient medication records. The role includes managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or expiries. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, comply with all regulatory and safety standards, and support quality assurance initiatives and documentation. Additional responsibilities may include supervising pharmacy support staff, assisting with audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Professional pharmacy qualification (e.g., B.Pharm or Pharm.D) and current license to practice in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in clinical pharmacy practice, including prescription review, drug utilization, and patient counseling.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
- Experience with pharmacy management systems, electronic medical records, and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, adhere to regulatory requirements, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound professional judgment in high-paced environments.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting in Lagos or similar urban environment is an advantage.
