Recruit AI is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead the manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical production environment. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong background in Good Manufacturing Practices, quality assurance, production planning, and process optimization. The successful candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of production to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with regulatory standards, making use of advanced tools like SAP Production Planning and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Although team management is not included in this role, collaboration with various departments and effective coordination are key aspects of the position.
The Pharmaceutical Project Manager focuses on maintaining high standards within production by enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and quality management systems (QMS). The role demands keen attention to detail in monitoring manufacturing performance, implementing corrective actions, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance is essential to streamline production and ensure supply chain excellence. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day pharmaceutical production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and efficient workflow.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry regulations and uphold product quality and safety.
- Plan, analyze, and optimize production processes to increase efficiency while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to monitor product quality, resolve issues promptly, and enforce corrective measures as needed.
- Use Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) tools to manage inventory control, production scheduling, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Maintain strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure consistent manufacturing standards and product integrity.
- Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and maximize operational effectiveness.
- Manage material usage to ensure timely production delivery and cost-effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance supply chain processes supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Prepare detailed production reports and documentation to support internal reviews and satisfy regulatory inspection requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, product quality enhancement, and operational excellence.
- Support new product introductions and technology upgrades by overseeing pilot runs, scaling production activities, and ensuring successful integration.
- Ensure all production operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain a culture of quality, safety, and compliance to foster a productive manufacturing environment.
