Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated pet technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals & providing top-notch care in a professional setting.
Duties
- Assist in the care & handling of dogs & cats
- Provide basic grooming services such as bathing & brushing
- Maintain cleanliness & organization in kennels & play areas
- Monitor animal behavior & report any concerns to the supervising staff
- Assist with feeding, walking, & exercising the animals as needed
- Administer medication under the direction of veterinary professionals
Skills
- Experience or certification in dog training, pet grooming, or veterinary assistance is a plus
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques & safe handling practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners & team members
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends & holidays
- Passion for animal care & welfare

Pay: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour
