Role Description The Pet Injection Moulding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring PET injection moulding machines to produce preforms and related components for bottled water production. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and adjusting machines, loading raw materials, performing basic troubleshooting, and maintaining consistent output quality according to specifications. The role involves conducting visual and measurement checks, documenting production data, and coordinating with quality and maintenance teams to address issues promptly. The operator is also expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and comply with clean room and hygiene standards where applicable. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Jazmyne Water Factory in Abuja.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machining for PET injection moulding or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with Quality Control practices, including visual inspection, measurement checks, and documentation of production results.
  • Ability to work in Clean Rooms or controlled production environments, following hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Effective Communication skills for coordinating with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical principles and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, injection moulding, or beverage/packaging production is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks safely.
  • Relevant technical or vocational training in mechanical, production, or industrial fields is beneficial.
