We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services for pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess strong customer service skills, making each pet’s experience enjoyable and stress-free.
Duties
Bathe and groom dogs and other pets according to their specific needs.
Handle pets safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during bathing.
Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and any special considerations.
Assist with animal restraint when necessary to ensure safety during grooming procedures.
Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during the bathing process.
Perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
Keep accurate records of services provided to each pet.
Requirements
Experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or working in a kennel or veterinary environment is preferred.
Strong skills in animal handling and restraint techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
Previous experience in dog training or equine care is a plus but not mandatory.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and welfare.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
