is looking for a compassionate and reliable
Part-Time Bather
to join our grooming team. In this role, you will assist in providing exceptional care for our patients by bathing and preparing them for grooming services. You will ensure that pets receive a positive and stress-free experience while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with animals and is eager to contribute to a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Bathe and Dry Pets: Provide thorough bathing for pets of all sizes and breeds, ensuring a clean, healthy, and comfortable coat.
Assist in Grooming Preparations: Prepare pets for grooming services by brushing, detangling fur, and trimming nails.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep bathing and grooming areas organized and sanitary, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
Handle Pets with Care: Demonstrate a calm, gentle approach when working with animals, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the bathing process.
Monitor Pet Health: Assist the grooming team by identifying signs of skin conditions, parasites, or other health concerns and report them to the veterinary staff.
Customer Service Support: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including handling basic inquiries and ensuring their pets are well taken care of during grooming appointments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the grooming team and other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise to be Successful
Previous Experience: Experience as a bather or in a related role, such as in a grooming or veterinary setting, is preferred but not required.
Love for Animals: A passion for working with pets and providing them with gentle and attentive care.
Ability to Work Independently: Ability to handle pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely and effectively.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring pets’ well-being during their time in the grooming area.
Team Player: Ability to work cooperatively with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, lift, stoop, and squat, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Flexible Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends.
