POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a People & Culture Coordinator that will provide clerical support and administration on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the People & Culture Department with clerical duties, assisting employees with questions, applicant processing, ADP setup, and other duties deemed necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and meetings for executives
Greet and assist onsite guests and applicants
Answer inbound telephone calls
Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assists in the completion of Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Assists with processing of paperwork of terminations.
Assists with the preparation of events, and special projects.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of People & Culture.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-employee files.
Processes mail.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Assist in the planning, co-ordinate and execution of company events
Assist in ordering employee breakfast or lunch for company events
Assist candidates with employment applications
Schedule interviews
Assist in creating newsletter, flyers, updating bulletin boards
Maintain track of supplies and order as needed
Shredding of documents
Design and maintain databases
Perform all other office tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Associate degree in business administration or Human Resources
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Human Resources office administration or other related fields

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Office Environment at a single manufacturing facility.
Required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
