ReadiVet seeks a Veterinary Patient Care Representative (PCR) to support client relations for our urgent veterinary care services in our in-clinic. The calm pet owner, the anxiety, the detail-focused do-er, this job is perfect for someone with a background in clinical veterinary medicine. This position is well-suited for individuals looking to work a flexible 40-hour schedule within our urgent care operating hours.

About Us: ReadiVet was founded as a mobile, in-home veterinary care provider. We ensure that pet owners get access to a higher level of clinical expertise while reducing stress for their pets. More than eighty-five percent of our services are provided in the home, while we also offer care in our fully equipped and centrally located clinic for imaging, surgery, and dental procedures.

ReadiVet has expanded its offerings to include comprehensive in-clinic urgent care from its hub in Uptown Dallas. This service ensures that we can meet a higher level of pet needs, whether expected or unexpected. The urgent care team will work in concert with our mobile care teams, as we focus on delivering both well and sick care to our clients in both treatment settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering office phone calls and text messages

Scheduling appointments

Managing schedules for our mobile and in-clinic urgent care veterinary teams

Reviewing appointment details with clients

Educating clients on pricing and procedures

Efficiently communicating appointment details to veterinarians and technicians

Sending/responding to emails

Requirements

2- 3+ years (s) of experience in the veterinary field

2+ years (s) of experience as a veterinary/medical receptionist in a multiple-doctor practice

Veterinary assistant/tech experience preferred

Experience using veterinary practice management and/or scheduling systems

Superb phone etiquette and text messaging skills

A team player, self-motivated, and reliable

Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable speaking with clients

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. with assistance (we bring our equipment with us)

Valid state-issued driver’s license

Navigation and Wayfinding- Skilled in using maps and other navigational tools to determine optimal routes and directions.
