Full Job Description
Eastside Veterinary Hospital, a Family-owned two doctor hospital is looking for an enthusiastic veterinary tech/assistant to join our close-knit team. Our assistants/technicians are participate in all aspects of veterinary medicine including, but not limited to: reception, appointments, surgical procedures, and kennel care.
We are looking for new team members able to:
Properly restrain cats and dogs
Draw blood
Give injections
Place catheters
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Lift up to 25 pounds
At least two years of relevant veterinary experience is required, but training is available to supplement your current skill set. Team members receive benefits including pet care discounts, boarding for pets, set schedules, and products discounts.
