Overview
Mulnix Animal Clinic has an amazing opportunity for a part time veterinarian to join our AAHA accredited practice in Ft. Collins, CO. This small animal practice is looking for a dynamic veterinarian to be part of a collaborative and tenured team! This position offers salary plus production, sign on/retention bonus package, paid parental leave. Part time allows you the option to work 2 or 3 days per week.
About The Position  
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced veterinarian looking to be part of a collaborative team. Ideally, this candidate will have surgical skills and a desire to make a difference in a community who’s mission it is to consistently provide authentic care by compassionately supporting and serving as a unified team in harmony with our clients. Looking for coverage on both Tuesday and Friday.

Work along side a tenured team including Medical Director Dr. Michelle Thomas who has led the Mulnix team since 2015. The team is very tight-knit and stive to offer top notch care to their long standing and loyal community.

Responsibilities
Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
Treat and dress wounds
Perform surgery on animals
Test for and vaccinate against diseases
Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
Prescribe medication
Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
Strong fondness and understanding of animals
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of animal behavior
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
