Part-Time Veterinary Assistant (20 Hours/Week)

What You Bring to the Table:
- 1+ year of veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of animal handling, restraint, and patient care
- Ability to assist with lab work, sample collection, and general nursing care
- A dependable and adaptable team player with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Support patient care including restraint, intake, and monitoring
- Help with diagnostics such as collecting samples and running basic lab work
- Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
- Provide excellent client service and clear communication
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Schedule:
- Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling; may include some evenings or Saturdays
