– Grounds Crew – Ballpark Operations
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing grounds, turf, and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform turf and landscape activities such as dragging the infield for in-game maintenance, raking, tamping, and watering the playing field.
Assist with maintenance and repair of the irrigation system.
Assist with the setup and removal of batting practice equipment.
Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather.
Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment, and the shop work area.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills and knowledge to perform routine manual and physical tasks regularly.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in ateam environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and consistent punctuality.
Ability to operate grounds equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:
The seasonal ground keeper work schedule operates from March – October. Includes long andflexible hoursduring the baseball season such as weekdays, weeknights, holidays, and weekends.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $19.07/hour. This is a regular-status, part-time position.
As a candidate in this position, your salary and related compensation elements will be contingent upon your work experience,education, job-related skills, and any other factors the Colorado Rockies consider relevant to the hiring decision.

All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and the terms of official plan documents, which may be modified or amended at any given time.
