Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will be essential as you interact with both the dogs and their owners, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.
Duties
Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Provide basic care including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the daycare area by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment.
Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners, answering questions, and providing updates on their pets.
Implement basic training techniques to encourage good behavior among the dogs.
Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger breeds.
Requirements
Experience in animal care or handling is preferred; previous work in a kennel or as a veterinary assistant is a plus.
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically engage with dogs of various sizes.
Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and basic dog training methods is beneficial.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Pay: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour
