Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, First Nations settlements.
Work Setting: Aboriginal band council, Rural area.
Responsibilities
Schedule work
Plan and direct grounds maintenance
Maintain work records and logs
Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Supervise staff (3-4 people)
Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds
Equipment and Machinery Experience
Chain saw
Small engine equipment
Weed trimmer/edger
Lawn mowers
Security and Safety
Criminal record check
Transportation/Travel Information
Valid driver’s licence
Own transportation
Own vehicle
