The Village of Ashwaubenon (Brown County, WI) is accepting applications for a full-time Park Maintenance Laborer.
Ashwaubenon is a vibrant suburb of Green Bay surrounding historic Lambeau Field. While just 17,000 residents call it home, this regional hub to shop, work, and play grows to 35,000 or more during the day. While it is a football town at heart and the Green Bay Packers are an active member of the community, a large regional shopping district, the Resch Center (sports and entertainment arena), the Resch Expo (exposition hall), a performing arts center, a competitive collegiate baseball, and soccer stadium and the Epic Event Center (concert venue), provide loads of entertainment to both locals and tourists year-round.
The Park Maintenance Laborer position is responsible for skilled and unskilled labor essential to the maintenance and operations of the Village’s parks, trails, public lands, and urban forest. Work is performed year-round with some weekend and holiday hours as required. The position performs under the general direction of the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry and the supervision of the Parks Maintenance Foreman.
Qualified applicants should possess the following:
A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience in a Park Department are required.
A valid, unencumbered State of Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License with air brake and tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire.
Wisconsin Pesticide Certification Categories 3.0 (Turf and Landscape) & 5.0 (Aquatic & Mosquito) within 12 months of hire.

Position Hiring Range* (2025): $25.99 – $28.69 – plus an attractive benefits package.
* Offered rate will depend on the selected candidates’ level of experience.
Residency Requirement – Must establish permanent residence within fifteen (15) miles of the incorporated boundaries of the Village of Ashwaubenon within the first six (6) months after the date of employment.
