About Us
At Pet Point, we are committed to ensuring the best healthcare and wellness for pets. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled In-House Paravet to support our veterinary team in daily clinical operations and provide dedicated care for animals within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during in-house consultations, treatments, and procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and basic treatments under veterinary supervision.
- Provide routine pet care, including feeding, grooming assistance, and monitoring health conditions.
- Collect samples (blood, urine, stool) and prepare them for diagnostic testing.
- Maintain medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.
- Educate pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, hygiene, and aftercare routines.
- Ensure animals’ comfort, safe handling, and proper restraint during examinations.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and sterilization of in-house equipment, treatment rooms, and cages.
- Monitor pets in recovery and provide supportive care.
- Track and manage in-house medical stock, medicines, and supplies.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certification in Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, or related field.
- Previous experience as a Paravet or Veterinary Assistant (preferred).
- Strong understanding of animal handling, care routines, and basic clinical support.
- Ability to work compassionately with pets and effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Physically active and comfortable handling different breeds and sizes.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as per in-house requirements.
