Reporting To Academy Director

Location Padel Academy centres at Jafferys and Rhapta, with regular visits to partner schools

Role Purpose

The Padel Program Lead, Juniors is responsible for managing, growing and coordinating the Academy’s children’s and junior padel programmes.

The role oversees junior activities at the Academy centres in Jafferys and Rhapta, as well as existing school programmes, together with any additional schools onboarded.

The Program Lead works closely with coaches, parents, schools, the Academy Operations Manager and the

Academy Director to ensure all programmes are well organised, enjoyable, safe and commercially sustainable.

Key Responsibilities – Programme Management

• Plan and coordinate junior padel lessons, camps, clinics, leagues and tournaments.

• Manage junior programmes at Jafferys and Rhapta.

• Coordinate delivery of padel programmes at existing schools .

• Prepare termly and holiday programme calendars.

• Ensure sessions start on time and are delivered according to Academy standards.

Junior Player Development

• Develop structured programmes for beginner, intermediate and competitive junior players.

• Track player attendance, progress and development.

• Work with coaches to identify talented players for advanced training and competitions.

• Create a clear pathway from school programmes to Academy training and competitive junior padel.

Coach Coordination

• Allocate coaches to junior and school programmes.

• Communicate schedules, lesson plans and programme expectations to coaches.

• Monitor coaching quality and provide regular feedback.

• Ensure coaches maintain professional conduct when working with children.

School Partnerships

• Maintain strong relationships with school administrators, sports departments and parents.

• Coordinate school schedules, student registrations and programme requirements.

• Identify opportunities to expand the programme to additional schools.

• Prepare simple updates and reports for partner schools.

Parent and Customer Communication

• Serve as the main contact person for parents participating in the junior programme.

• Communicate schedules, fees, changes, events and player progress.

• Respond professionally and promptly to parent questions and concerns.

• Support the registration and retention of junior players.

Programme Growth

• Promote junior lessons, holiday camps, school programmes and junior events.

• Support recruitment of new junior players.

• Develop activities that increase participation and recurring enrolment.

• Work toward agreed junior programme revenue and participation targets.

Administration and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of registrations, attendance, payments and coach assignments.

• Submit weekly programme updates to the Academy Director.

• Prepare monthly reports on participation, revenue, challenges and upcoming activities.

• Coordinate with the Academy Operations Manager on court bookings, equipment, payments and sharedoperational requirements.

Child Safety

• Ensure all junior activities follow the Academy’s child safeguarding standards.

• Maintain a safe, respectful and positive environment for all children.

• Report any safety, conduct or safeguarding concerns immediately to the Academy Director.

Key Performance Indicators

• Growth in junior player registrations.

• Retention of existing junior players.

• Successful delivery of programmes at Jafferys, Rhapta and partner schools.

• Attendance and utilisation of junior sessions.

• Parent and school satisfaction.

• Growth in junior programme revenue.

• Number of new school partnerships secured.

• Quality and consistency of coaching delivery.

Working Relationships

The Padel Program Lead, Juniors reports directly to the Academy Director and collaborates closely with the Academy Operations Manager. The role works collaboratively with the Operations Manager on shared operational matters while retaining direct ownership and accountability for the planning, growth, coordination and performance of the junior programme.
