Overnight Veterinary Assistant Jobs in Ithaca, NY at VCA Animal Hospitals
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight team.
We are a hybrid hospital that provides wellness and speciality services to include soft tissue and orthopedic Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency as well as meeting the needs of our local General Practice clients in beautiful Ithaca, NY
The successful candidate will assist the team to provide of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—
In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:
Assisting in the care of our hospitalized patients.
Maintaining medical records.
Fill prescriptions.
Assisting with laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
Providing compassionate restraint and ideal patient care
Provide client updates and assist in discharges for our patients
Assist the ER service as needed

Salary range $19 – $22.00 with shift differential applied
