Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Reno, NV is hiring an exceptional Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician.
Pay Scale (LVT Level I): $22.25 – $32.00/Hr
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Career Trax leveling system.
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.
* Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
For example:
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities include:
Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place peripheral IVCs and advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines
Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medicine
Mentor and train colleagues
Provide nursing care for critically ill patients, helping them recover and reunite with their owners
