We are a fun and diverse team of people who love animals! Our trainers, kennel staff, cleaners and office staff all work together to create a safe environment for the dogs that are training with us.
Working as Overnight Kennel Staff:
Our overnight kennel staff are an essential part of this! Overnight kennel staff stay with the dogs overnight, making sure they are safe and cared for, while helping get ready for the next day of training.
Duties:
Shifting dogs in and out to go potty.
Light cleaning
Washing dishes
Organizing training tools
Maintaining quiet in the facility
Requirements:
Must love dogs! 🙂
Ability to work independently, following directions without direct supervision
Comfortable around all sizes, breed and temperament of dogs
Weekend availability and rotating holiday availability
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Working cell phone
Weekend availability
Rotating Holiday availability
Must be able to pass a drug test
Preferred:
Previous experience working with dogs or other animals and working overnight positions.
Rate of Pay:
Compensation starts at $19-$20 /hour depending on experience. Pay raises are based on reliability and ability to complete tasks efficiently, not on time spent working with us. So, bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly! Scheduled hours are typically 9pm-6am.
This is also a great place to grow in skills and responsibilities. We prefer to promote from within and love offering opportunities for growth to our employees.
