We are looking to add an Overnight Animal Care Attendant to our team at K9 Cabana!
Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am, 2 to 3 days a week
Core Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Destination Pet.
Sanitize and disinfect pet enclosures and boarding areas.
Provide clean bedding and ensure pets have access to clean water at all times.
Feed pets with the correct type and amount of food, maintaining cleanliness of food prep areas.
Monitor and chart pet consumption and elimination; report concerns to management.
Visually check pets for safety and well-being throughout the shift.
Supervise group play or individual activities for dogs as required.
Assist with bathing and grooming of canine guests as needed.
Clean up excrement and maintain cleanliness in enclosures and surrounding areas.
Monitor, clean, and organize pet belongings; return belongings to owners.
Perform daily laundering of bedding and towels.
Requirements:
Expertise &
Experience:
Must be a pet enthusiast—pets are part of our family!
Experience in professional animal care or kennel work preferred.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Open to entry-level applicants; high school/college students and teenagers 16+ encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the duration of the shift.
Comfort handling dogs on leashes.
Ability to work in environments with disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions.
Reports to: General Manager

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00/hour + tips
