Job Description
An exciting leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Emergency and Critical Care (DECC) to join a well-established, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Fishers, IN. This role offers the chance to lead a skilled emergency and critical care team while continuing to practice as an Emergency DVM.
Reporting to the Medical Director, the DECC will oversee the medical quality and patient care provided by emergency doctors and hospitalists, serving as a mentor and role model for the team. This position is also a key part of the hospital leadership team, contributing to overall service excellence and financial performance.
Working alongside a team of 11 full-time emergency doctors and hospitalists, the DECC will collaborate with a diverse group of specialists, including Internal Medicine, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery, and Physical Rehabilitation.
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 30,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with advanced technology, including a 1.5 Tesla MRI, 64-slice CT, linear accelerator, fluoroscopy, two digital radiology rooms, GE ultrasound units, endoscopy equipment, and a neurological electrodiagnostic machine. A full rehabilitation service with two underwater treadmills is also available.
