Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage all operational activities related to the layer farms, ensuring optimal egg production, flock performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities & Duties:
Lead and supervise daily operations across all layer farms, including pullet rearing and egg production units
Ensure production targets (e.g., egg quantity, quality, feed conversion) are met according to company standards
Monitor and optimize the use of resources including feed, water, electricity, labor, and equipment
Analyze production performance indicators (laying rate, mortality, feed conversion ratio, etc.) and implement improvement plans
Collaborate with veterinary, nutrition, and maintenance teams to address performance issues proactively
Prepare and present regular performance and KPI reports to senior management
Set objectives, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations
Ensure high levels of engagement, safety, and compliance among all team members
Ensure full adherence to biosecurity measures, hygiene practices, and animal welfare standards across all farms
Coordinate with the veterinary and QA departments to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and external regulations
Plan and coordinate bird placement, rearing cycles, and culling schedules in line with the production plan
Coordinate with the supply chain, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
Participate in budgeting and cost control initiatives to optimize operational expenses
Job Requirements:
+15 years of experience in layer sector with at least 5 years in managing large-scale layer farm operations
Strong knowledge of layer operation
Result oriented
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
Problem-solving skills
