This Casual/On-Call Crossing Guard role involves monitoring designated public crosswalks Monday to Friday, during school hours. Job duties include reporting any injuries or behavioural problems to the relevant authorities. You will be expected to maintain excellent working relationships with students and staff, all while enjoying outdoor work regardless of the weather.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor student safety at designated crosswalks
• Report injuries and other issues to the Principal
• Develop relationships with students and staff
• Adapt to outdoor weather conditions
• Complete various related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Grade 12 graduation preferred
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong behaviour management abilities
• Good health and willingness to work outdoors
• First Aid knowledge is a plus
