WE ARE HIRING: NUTRITIONIST / CHEF
Climax Lubricants is looking for a skilled and responsible Nutritionist or Chef to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing healthy, balanced, and quality meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and proper kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan healthy and balanced meal menus
• Prepare and serve quality meals
• Ensure proper food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Monitor food portions and nutritional value
• Manage food ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Reduce food waste and control kitchen expenses
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time
• Consider dietary restrictions, allergies, and special nutritional needs
• Maintain proper storage of food items
• Work with management to improve the company’s meal programme
Qualifications and Requirements
• A degree, diploma, or professional certification in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food Science, or a related field
• Relevant experience working as a Nutritionist, Dietitian, Chef, Cook, or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of healthy meal planning and food preparation
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to prepare both Nigerian and continental meals will be an advantage
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be responsible, trustworthy, neat, and professional
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
