The Nursery Sales Associate is responsible for caring for trees, shrubs, and perennials in an outdoor nursery setting and assisting customers with plant selections and plant care questions. Customer communications in person and over the phone. This is a great position for the entry-level green thumb and those who are seeking a career in the largest Garden Center Nursery in the Omaha Metro Area.
Requirements
Knowledge of or interest in learning more about trees, plants, and landscaping
Quick to learn new skills and able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
Must be a self-motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Highlyorganized and detail-oriented, placing a high emphasis on accuracy
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Work directly with plant production staff to manage inventory, restocking, and presentation
Ability to work in an outside sales environment during all zone 5 seasons
Responsibilities
Plant and tree care & sales support for nursery. Trees, shrubs, and perennial plants
Greeting customers, team members, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Anticipation of customer inquiries and routing inquiries to plant experts andleadershipteams as needed
Maintain a clean and well-organized sales space
Creating a friendly and welcoming shopping center
Assist in transporting, unloading, stocking, and organizing new plant material
Assistance with merchandise and plant displays; assistance with re-stocking
Assist with monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Greenhouse
Assistance with varieties of projects with the greenhouse, nursery, and shopping center
