Our team has collected seeds and potted thousands of native seedlings. Help give these little trees their final check‑up before heading out to restoration projects across the Marlborough region. This focused role is perfect for those who love being outdoors, getting their hands dirty and want a steady, low‑impact way to contribute to the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Check up seedlings in the native nursery.
  • Weed small potting containers at standing height.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of seedlings for transport to restoration sites.

Requirements

  • Medium fitness to handle weeding tasks at standing height.
  • Basic weeding skills helpful but not required (training provided).
  • Supportive attitude toward people of all abilities.

Time Commitment

2‑4 hours a week, anytime from Tuesday‑Friday, 9:00 am–4:00 pm.
