Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary product sales as well as animal health retail experience. Having former distributor relationships and expertise in new product launches in these areas and past success in driving veterinary awareness is imperative. Further, this individual will have the ability to penetrate national accounts and clinic chain systems to improve product sales in this area as well. Being a R and D company, our goal is to launch evidence based veterinary products that have unique intellectual properties. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the company meets its US sales targets.
Duties
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
Identify opportunities for cross-marketing and cross-selling within existing and new accounts.
Build and maintain strong distributor and national account relationships.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with management to create promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management to senior management.
Experience
Proven experience as a National Sales Manager in the veterinary channel, animal health channel and large clinic systems.
Able to show proven success in these areas based on product growth.
Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with veterinary Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Familiarity with the animal health retail sales processes is a plus.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.
