Four Town Veterinary Hospital, a privately owned, two-doctor practice located near beautiful Somers, CT, is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our growing team.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a veterinary assistant (required)
Friendly or Fear Free handling techniques
Solid understanding of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology
Skilled in venipuncture, digital radiography, and lab procedures
Proficient in administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
Experience with surgical prep, recovery, and anesthesia monitoring
Capable of triage, collecting patient histories, and recording vitals
Accurate digital medical record-keeping
Strong client communication and education skills
Familiarity with DEA and OSHA compliance standards

Work-Life Balance
We understand the importance of personal time. Our schedule supports a healthy work-life balance, with full-days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, a half-day on Tuesday, and Thursdays off. No evening or weekend shifts are required. In addition, we also offer the following benefits:
Salary: $19.00–$21.00/hr. (based on experience)
