Make the mountain bike trails your office!
As a member of the Mountain Bike Trail Crew, you’ll be charged with maintaining and constructing Summit at Snoqualmie Bike Park trails. We’re looking for a self-directed, team-oriented, and hardworking person that wants to help build on the legacy of trails at the bike park.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, Summit ated an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.
Responsibilities
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Assist with construction, repair, and maintenance of trails and features as directed.
Organize, clean, and maintain hand tools and equipment necessary for trail work.
Arrive on time and ready to work, according to the schedule set by the Supervisor.
May be trained and work with machinery and specialized tools to complete projects.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Consistent attendance with excellent work ethic.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work variable hours depending upon seasonal conditions.
Strong customer service orientation (good with people).
Minimum 18 years of age.
Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this position is: from $20.30 to $21.00. This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
