Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Veterinarian for a full-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Mobile Veterinarian will be responsible for providing routine and preventative medical care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing minor procedures, and delivering compassionate end-of-life services when necessary. The role involves traveling to clients’ homes to ensure the highest quality of care and providing thoughtful client communication and education to promote pet health and well-being.
Qualifications
- Veterinary Medical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing minor surgical or dental procedures, and providing preventative care.
- Compassionate Animal Care: A genuine passion for animal welfare and a professional, empathetic approach to both pets and clients.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and client education skills to provide clear, caring advice and address client questions effectively.
- Time Management and Organization: The ability to manage and plan a daily schedule, handle multiple appointments, and maintain accurate patient records efficiently.
- Commitment to Mobile Veterinary Practice: A willingness and ability to travel locally to provide home-based veterinary services.
- Licensure and Education: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree and an active veterinary license in the state of Arizona.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in mobile veterinary services, familiarity with pet wellness plans, and an interest in building strong, long-term client relationships.
