We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Dog Bather / Groom Tech to perform groom tech services and deliver exceptional experience to our clients.

Woofie’s of Western Loudoun’s Mobile Pet Spa brings the comforts and amenities of an upscale grooming salon to the privacy and convenience of our client’s home. Our fully equipped, self-contained mobile spa with state-of-the-art grooming equipment is designed to achieve maximum safety, comfort, and convenience.

The groom tech will work hands on with pets, providing them the utmost care and pampering, while receiving plenty of tail wags and puppy kisses. The groom tech will receive grooming instructions, identify and resolve any client concerns, as well as maintain the mobile van, supplies, and workspace. We place a high value on safety. This position can also lead to career path opportunities and continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Assess each pet’s condition and obtain service requests by interacting with clients to fit their needs and following groom standards provided by Woofie’s management.
Groom and style pets by bathing, brushing, combing, paw pad trimming, de-shedding, de-matting, drying, clipping/filing nails, cleaning ears, and deodorizing according to breed or mixed breed specifications, and in accordance with Woofie’s standards.
Express anal glands only upon client request (internal gland expression is unauthorized).
Apply special precautions for puppies, senior dogs, and disabled pets. Ease pet anxieties and reduce behavioral issues by utilizing available resources and techniques.
Protect pets and self by adhering to safety policies and following procedures in a pet medical emergency.
Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information through the Woofie’s app.
Clean, sanitize, and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all equipment, while conserving the use of replenishable supplies. Adhere to proper portion or dilution level guidelines.
Prevent and resolve customer issues by communicating directly with clients, and promptly following up with the back-office team and management.
Complete clerical, supply, cleaning, and any other tasks as assigned by the Woofie’s management.
Attend, promote, and participate in Woofie’s events, such as Yappy Hours, Bark in the Park, and more.
Other duties as called upon.
Qualifications:
1 year of groom tech/ pet bathing experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent customer service experience is a plus.
