Role Description The Medical Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja. The individual in this role will promote and sell medical products and services to healthcare professionals, clinics, and hospitals, building strong relationships and maintaining regular contact with key decision-makers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, identifying new business opportunities, following up on leads, and achieving defined sales targets and performance metrics. The Medical Sales Executive will also gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to improve sales strategies and product positioning. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate sales records, preparing reports, supporting marketing initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective customer service and account management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated medical or pharmaceutical sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to influence healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, medical terminology, and regulatory considerations related to product promotion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in basic office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and CRM or sales tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple accounts and territories.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel within Abuja and surrounding areas for client visits, meetings, and events, as required.
  • Ethical, customer-focused approach, with strong problem-solving skills and resilience in a target-driven environment.
