Novak Animal Care Center is an AAHA Accredited 3 doctor small animal practice looking for a part-time file clerk to join our team!
The candidate we are looking for should be highly attentive to detail, professional, positive, compassionate, and possess a team-player mentality. The ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment is a must! You’ll need to be self-starting and diligent with strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of AVImark software is highly desired but not required. Prior experience working in vet medicine is preferred, but we are willing to train a highly motivated candidate that we feel is the right fit.
Basic duties include: greeting clients, prepping/filing patient charts, updating records, copy/email/fax of medical records & RX requests, clerical duties, ensuring completion and accuracy of hospital forms & filing system, purchase order inventory management, maintaining collection accounts, and delivering excellent customer service.
**Expected hours for this role average around 25 hours per week. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required as well as a significant amount of standing and moving/bending.
