Position: Medical Director – Northern Tampa Bay *Sign-on Bonus*
Spring Hill Animal Clinic in Spring Hill, Florida, is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead our 2-doctor team.
We’re searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values collaboration, loves mentorship, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a leadership position. Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in the state of Florida for consideration.
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling, weekends off, and hour-long lunch breaks. There are no emergency or on-call services for this position.
Background and Experience:
Strong leadership skills (prior experience in a leadership role is a plus!)
Ability to collaborate with our existing team (2 DVMs, 2 CVTs, and 10+ support members)
Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Build and uphold existing relationships with the local Spring Hill community
Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Grow relationships within the practice and the community
Encourage the growth of support staff members
Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments
Oversee the medical care of all patients
Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality
Assist Practice Manager with the staffing and scheduling
Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.

We’re a full-service companion animal practice equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, full in-house labs, a dedicated surgery suite, and more. Our staff has proudly served Spring Hill for more than 30 years and is known for providing cohesive care in a calm environment.
Our technician team is fantastic and does a great job keeping our DVMs on track each day. We currently have two skilled Associate DVMs, who have special interests in internal medicine and dentistry.
