Position: Medical Director | Plainview, New York
Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) is seeking a Medical Director to lead our talented and growing team of specialists.
LIVS is a renovated 30,000 square foot, AAHA-accredited, 24-hour referral and emergency hospital located in Long Island, NY. We house a team of 150 caring professionals in disciplines including Cardiology, Critical Care, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery.

Role Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of high-quality, compassionate veterinary care.
Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive work environment.
Uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Collaborate with the Hospital Director to oversee medical team operations.
Act as a medical expert and drive operational excellence.
This position involves: 25% administrative duties and 75% clinical duties.
